Plan Your Visit

Just 15 minutes from the Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park spans 40 acres of hilly farmland, providing spacious, natural environments for its wildlife.

Visitors can hand-feed and interact with friendly kangaroos and wallabies, enjoy koala encounters, and take part in unique hands-on dingo education sessions. The park is also home to wombats, bettongs, squirrel gliders, and a variety of wallaby species and more.

At the back of the park, a large sanctuary is home to a kangaroo mob, emus, and other gentle herd animals, offering a peaceful space to observe them in a natural setting.

Walking the main track takes 15 – 20 minutes, though most guests spend 45 – 60 minutes exploring at their own pace.

Getting Here

From Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road: We are located approximately 1 hour’s drive from Apollo Bay (70km), and 13 minutes (15km) before the Twelve Apostles. Follow the signs to the turn off which is approximately 100 metres from the park entrance.

From Warrnambool via the Great Ocean Road: We are located 88 km east from Warrnambool. The route takes you through Port Campbell and passes the Twelve Apostles from where it is only 15km further until you reach the park.

Inland: If you arrive via the A1, take the turn off onto to C166 after passing through Colac which leads through Simpson and meets the Great Ocean Road near Princetown. At the T-junction take a left. We are only a 10 minute drive away.

Facilities

With Clean Cravings Eatery on our premises, you can enjoy a healthy lunch or snack, barista-made coffee, and fresh juices before or after your visit to the park.

Picnics can also be enjoyed inside the park in one of our designated areas.

Toilets and washrooms are situated inside the park, near the entrance. At this stage, we do not have disabled facilities, but it is one of our priorities to change this in the near future.

Accessibility

While the walkways through the park are unpaved, most of the track is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Detailed information regarding accessability is being provided at the entrance.
