Albino Wallaby
Albino Red-necked Wallabies are an extremely rare variation of the common red-necked wallaby, born with a pure white coat, pink nose, and pale eyes due to a genetic condition called albinism. This unique colouring makes them especially striking, but it also means they require extra care and protection from sunlight and predators in the wild.
At Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park, our albino wallaby lives safely within a calm, natural environment where visitors can admire its beauty up close. Just like their normally coloured counterparts, albino red-necked wallabies are gentle, curious grazers that enjoy hopping through open grasslands, nibbling on native plants, and interacting peacefully with the rest of the mob.
Seeing one in person is a special experience—these animals are rarely seen in the wild and are considered a true highlight for many guests visiting the park.
